We're Barbara + Toon and we're the co-founders of Recipeboard. 👋
Originally from Brazil, Barbara has been working in digital marketing for the past 8 years. Toon, a very tall Dutchman, has been building software for 10 years. We are both food and blogging aficionados, but that's not our biggest motivation for starting Recipeboard.
Since the first idea for Recipeboard, we've fallen in love with the hustle of the food blogging community. We've met amazing women and men starting businesses from scratch, that have self-taught themselves search engine optimisation, email marketing and programmatic advertising.
A lot of them are also juggling housework, raising kids and a full-time job at the same time. The food blogging community is the best of what the internet has to offer. An opportunity to do what you love by offering niche content to people like you. We're impressed and we want to help.
